A weekly schedule for one person

Not everyone works the same week. For anyone part-time, or in on two days, give them their own schedule and razza offers their times from it, inside the branch’s hours.

Steps

1. Open Working Hours from the side menu and find the person under Staff schedules.
2. Select Schedule on their row.
3. On each day they work, select + (Add hours). It starts as that day’s branch hours.
4. Set their shift’s start and end. For a second shift, select + again and set its times too.
5. Select Save.

With the attendance feature on, the side menu calls the page Hours & attendance.

Once the schedule is saved

Their row changes from Branch hours to Custom. Your booking site offers no time outside their schedule, and razza refuses an upcoming booking for them outside it from the dashboard too. A day you leave without hours is an Off day, so nothing is offered that day.

Bookings already made outside the new schedule stay where they are. Move or cancel them yourself.

Someone with no schedule

No schedule does not mean unbookable. It means branch hours: they can be booked whenever the branch is open. That is where everyone starts, and where Use branch hours puts them back.

An empty week is not a week off: saving one puts them back on branch hours too. For time off, record leave.

Which hours win

Leave beats a single-day change, and that beats the weekly schedule. Branch hours win over both: a schedule narrows them, it never widens them, so razza refuses a shift that falls outside them. In the editor, a weekday the branch is closed has no + to add hours, and reads Closed unless it still holds a shift from before the branch closed that day. Delete that shift, or razza refuses the save. On the days of a temporary closure, razza offers no times and accepts no upcoming booking, whatever anyone’s schedule.

Limits

For now, someone on a schedule can be booked only in the whole hours of a shift: a 16:30 to 20:30 shift takes bookings between 17:00 and 20:00. If they work the branch’s full day, leave them on branch hours instead, which keeps the half hours.

If they are not in the list

The page lists the team of the branch chosen in the branch selector at the top of the portal. Switch to their branch there.
