Set commission rates and sales targets

You can give each team member a commission rate, a monthly sales target, or both, and razza works out their commission and progress from the services they perform. Only the owner sets rates and targets, and a change never alters the months before it.

Set a rate and a target

1. Open Commissions.
2. Move to the month the rate and target should start from.
3. Select the pencil on the team member’s row or card, or Set under Rate.
4. Enter the Commission rate from 0 to 100, with up to two decimals.
5. Enter the Monthly sales target: the revenue they should reach in the month.
6. Select Save.

The rate and the target are independent. Leave the rate empty for no commission, and leave the target empty or enter 0 for no target. If your business charges VAT, enter the target without it, because razza measures revenue without VAT.

The list shows team members who take bookings, plus anyone else with figures that month. With one branch selected, it leaves out other branches’ team members who did no services there, so choose All Branches if someone is missing.

What a change affects

razza applies the rate and target to the month you chose and every month after it, and earlier months keep theirs, so changing October never changes September’s commission. If a later month already has its own rate and target, your change stops there. The window shows which months the change covers before you save.

Change the current month and its commission updates straight away. To start a new rate next month, move to next month first, then change it.

Let a team member see their own figures

Give them Can view own commission: open Team, open the actions menu (⋮) on their card, select Team Permissions, switch it on, and select Save. Only the owner can give this permission.

Commissions then appears in their menu the next time they open razza, and shows them My commission: their own revenue, target, rate and commission, even without Can view prices. The page never shows them a colleague’s figures or rate, whatever other permissions they hold, and they cannot change any rate or target, their own included.

If Commissions is not in the menu

If you do not see it as the owner, ask razza to switch the feature on for your business, then sign out and back in. If a team member does not see it, check that they have Can view own commission, and ask them to sign out and back in if they are already signed in.
