Connect to ZATCA
Once you connect, razza sends your new invoices to ZATCA for you, unless you choose to send them yourself. Save your tax details first.
- In razza, open Settings, then the E-invoicing (ZATCA) tab.
- Select Fatoora portal in the connection section’s description to open it, and sign in with Nafath.
- Choose to onboard a new solution unit or device. Stay in the production portal, not the simulation one.
- Complete the verification, ask for one code, and copy it.
- Back in razza, paste the code into “Activation code (OTP)” and select “Connect”.
Once you are connected
Section titled “Once you are connected”A green “Connected to ZATCA” line appears and the button becomes “Reconnect”. One connection covers all your branches, so with more than one branch the tab shows Applies to all branches.
razza keeps sending your invoices while “Send invoices to ZATCA automatically”, on the same tab, is on, and it starts on. If you turn it off, you send each invoice yourself from E-Invoices. ZATCA expects each invoice within 24 hours of issue, and your business is responsible for any late or missing report.
If it will not connect
Section titled “If it will not connect”Nothing is saved when it fails, and an existing connection keeps working. When the message says the code is used up or can’t be used again, razza empties “Activation code (OTP)”, ready for a fresh code from Fatoora. It is almost always one of these.
- Your address is incomplete. razza refuses to connect until the building number is four digits, the postal code is five, and the street, district and city are filled in. Fix them first.
- razza asks you to complete your business details (VAT number, commercial registration, legal name in Arabic and English, and address). Enter the Arabic legal name in your tax details, and contact razza for the rest, which you cannot change in Settings.
- ZATCA rejected the test invoice. The code is now used up. Check your address in your tax details, then try connecting again with a fresh code. Contact razza if the problem is your commercial registration or another detail you cannot change.
- The code is invalid or expired. A code is valid for about an hour after Fatoora generates it. Generate a fresh one and enter it straight away.
- The code came from the wrong portal. A live connection needs one from the production portal. A simulation code only works for the rehearsal.
- ZATCA did not issue the production certificate, or the connection dropped after the code was used. The code is used up either way. Generate a fresh one and try connecting again. If it keeps failing, contact support.
- Connect does nothing. It stays disabled while the activation code field is empty, including after razza empties it.
- Any other reason. Generate a fresh code and try connecting again. If it keeps failing, contact support.
- The tab is not there. It does not appear for a tax-exempt business, nor for a team member without the permission above.
