Inventory
Inventory helps you follow how much is left of the supplies your services use, and record what gets consumed.

Who adds items and adjusts quantities
Section titled “Who adds items and adjusts quantities”The page is open to anyone who can sign in to the razza portal. Adding items, using Adjust stock, and adding or editing products under Catalog are for the owner and for team members the owner gives the Can manage inventory permission. A team member with it works on the stock of their own branch, and on the catalog every branch shares.
To give it, open Team, open the actions menu (⋮) on the team member’s card, select Team Permissions, tick Can manage inventory under Management & Administration, and select Save. Only the owner sees this option. That person sees the change the next time they open razza, so ask them to sign out and back in if they are already signed in.
Who logs what a service used
Section titled “Who logs what a service used”The owner can always log it, and so can team members with inventory access, on bookings in their own branch. Who else can is set under Preferences (the gear icon):
- Assigned staff only: the team member performing the service.
- Any staff on the branch: any team member, on bookings in their own branch.
- Staff with inventory access only: nobody else, not even the team member performing the service. This suits a business where reception logs what was used.
A team member without Can view the whole team's bookings sees only the bookings assigned to them, so they can log only on those.
- Open Inventory. If All Branches is selected at the top, choose one branch.
- Select Add item, then find the item under Product, or type a new name and create it.
- Enter the Initial quantity you have now.
- Set Low-stock at so you are warned before it runs out, then select Add item.
- When new stock arrives, select Adjust stock on the item, choose Received, enter the quantity and select Save.
What you see
Section titled “What you see”Each item shows what is left. It carries Out of stock once it reaches zero or goes below, whether or not you set a level. While some is left, it carries Low stock once it reaches the level you set or falls below it. Select Low stock only to list the items at or below their level; items with no level never appear there.
When stock goes down
Section titled “When stock goes down”razza never deducts a service’s supplies on its own, not when you select Complete Service and not at Checkout. You record consumption against the booking with Log items used once the service has been started with Start Service or is complete, so you can see which service used what. Checking out alone does not count. As the owner, you can log before the service starts, from the booking’s own page or from List View on the bookings page, by ticking Owner override (any status). Restocks, waste, manual corrections and usage outside a booking go through Adjust stock; for usage, choose Consumed. The item’s History shows its most recent movements and who recorded each one.
Knowing before you run out
Section titled “Knowing before you run out”When a drop in stock takes an item from above the level you set to that level or below, razza sends the owner a notification naming the item, what is left and the branch. Any drop counts: consumption on a booking, usage outside bookings, waste, or a downward adjustment.
If no alert arrives
Section titled “If no alert arrives”razza sends one alert each time an item crosses its level on the way down. An item that is already at or below it, including one you added below it or whose level you raised above its count, keeps its tag but sends no alert until its count rises above the level and drops again. An item with no Low-stock at never sends one. The alert goes to the owner only. Turning off Inventory in your notification settings stops the phone alert, but the bell still shows it.
