Customer booking times
Two settings on the Booking tab of Settings decide the start times your booking site offers: the gap between one start and the next, and how long a customer waits between their own services. You set both for each branch, and neither restricts what your team books.
What the gap setting does
Section titled “What the gap setting does”With Even booking times on, razza counts every start from the hour the branch opens that day, so appointments begin on one rhythm.
razza picks the number from the durations a customer can book: the widest gap that wastes almost nothing.
Is the gap the same for every service?
Section titled “Is the gap the same for every service?”No. Settings shows the closest gap, and razza widens it for a longer service, up to an hour.
| Service (branch on 30 minutes) | Offered every |
|---|---|
| 30 minutes | 30 minutes |
| 1 hour | 1 hour |
| 2 hours | 1 hour |
| 3 hours | 1 hour |
The number razza picks for the branch can itself be longer than an hour when your service durations suit it. With the setting off, a service is offered every 15 minutes unless it carries a start time of its own. For that, see Start times for one service.
The longest wait inside one visit
Section titled “The longest wait inside one visit”razza starts each service as soon as its team member is free after the previous one ends. Longest wait between a customer’s own services caps that waiting added up across the whole visit, not each gap alone: choose No wait, back to back, keep Up to an hour (default), or allow up to 120 minutes. A start going over it is not offered, and the customer sees each wait first.
With more than one branch
Section titled “With more than one branch”The Customer booking times card lists each branch on its own row, and changing one branch leaves the others as they are. A team member sees and changes only their own branch.
After you save
Section titled “After you save”The card shows the first three start times from the branch’s usual opening time, at the closest gap, and the booking site follows the setting immediately. Bookings already made stay put. If a later change to your services suits a different number, razza tells you on the Services page and in this card. To apply it, press Use it in the card. razza does not change it for you.
If the times look wrong
Section titled “If the times look wrong”- Still every 15 minutes: the setting is off for that branch, or razza picked 15 minutes for its services. The card shows which.
- You cannot turn the setting on: the branch has no service customers can book yet.
- No times on a day: the branch may be closed that weekday, or closed for a few days that include that date.
- Some times missing for a signed-in customer: the booking site leaves out times that overlap another booking that customer holds the same day, at any business on razza.
