Close a branch for a few days, such as Eid

You can close a branch for a few days, such as Eid, and razza offers no booking times on those dates. The branch’s weekly hours stay as they are and apply again once the closure ends.

Steps

1. Open Working Hours from the side menu, named Hours & attendance when the attendance feature is on.
2. With more than one branch, choose the branch in the branch selector at the top of the portal.
3. Under Temporary closures, select Add closure.
4. Pick the first day, then the last. For a single day, pick it twice.
5. Add a reason if you want one. Customers see it on your booking site.
6. Select Save closure.

Once the closure is saved

razza offers no times on those days and accepts no upcoming booking, with any team member. Your booking site greys the days out and shows the closure dates, with your reason before them if you added one. In the calendar, every active team member’s column reads Branch closed.

A closure covers one branch. To close several, choose each branch in the branch selector and add a closure to it.

Bookings already on those days

razza does not cancel them or notify their customers. When you save, it lists those that are Booked, Arriving or In Progress and saves nothing yet. Select a booking to open it, move it to another day or cancel it, then add the closure again. Or select Close despite bookings to save now: the bookings stay on the calendar for you to move or cancel later.

Changing or removing a closure

A closure stays listed under Temporary closures until it ends. Select the pencil icon on its row to change its dates or reason, or the bin icon to remove it. Removing a closure already under way reopens the branch from today.

Two closures at one branch cannot overlap, so to make one longer, change its dates.

A closure wins over every schedule

A day inside a closure is closed for everyone. Neither a weekly schedule nor a single-day change can open it, and the availability grid locks its hours as Branch closed.
