Who can see your customers

You see every customer of your business. What a team member sees depends on their branch, their permissions and two privacy options that can be switched on for them.

Does every team member see every customer?

Only if you have one branch and the customers page is not hidden from them. A team member sees customers who have booked at their branch, and customers who have not booked at any of your branches yet, such as someone just added by hand. You see every customer under All Branches, and with one branch selected, that branch’s customers by the same rule.

A team member cannot find or open a customer who has booked only at another branch, whatever their permissions, even by adding them again. They appear once the customer books at their branch.

To book them, select Create New Customer in the booking form and enter their first name and mobile number.

Does everyone see the same record?

No. On a record, a team member’s booking list and Uploaded Files cover only bookings at their branch, and only their own unless they have Can view the whole team's bookings. The totals still count the whole business, but a team member without Can view prices does not see the real Total Spent.

Can you hide customer details from a team member?

Yes, under Privacy Restrictions in team permissions.

With Hide customer contact info, a team member sees no mobile number, email or birthday on any customer, and cannot search by mobile number or email.

With Hide the customers page, they have no Customers page and cannot open any customer’s record, even from a booking. The booking still shows the customer’s name and, unless their contact details are hidden too, mobile number and email. They can still find a customer when booking or selling a product, and add one when booking.
