Correct a payment method
You can change the method recorded on a payment or a refund without touching its amount, so Reconciliation counts it under the right method.
- Open the booking and go to its Payment section.
- Select the pencil icon (Edit payment channel) beside the payment’s amount.
- Choose the right method from the list, then select Save.
What changes once you save?
Section titled “What changes once you save?”razza moves the payment to the new method in Reconciliation. Its amount and the date it was received stay as they were, so the day’s total stays the same and only its split across methods changes.
A refund you handed back has its own pencil. Correcting a payment does not move a refund already recorded against it, so if you returned that money by a method other than the one on the refund, correct the refund’s row too.
Why do some payments have no pencil?
Section titled “Why do some payments have no pencil?”A card payment made through Online payments, whether on the booking site, through a payment link or by a charge to a saved card, has no pencil, and neither does a refund made back to that card. razza records the method of these itself, and it cannot be changed.
If you started from a refund
Section titled “If you started from a refund”Choosing No: correct the payment method only after Refund opens the same method list on one of the booking’s payments. If it is not the payment recorded wrongly, select Cancel and use the pencil beside the right one.
Does this change the tax invoice?
Section titled “Does this change the tax invoice?”No. Correcting the method leaves the invoice as it is, and razza issues no credit note.
