Update a booking through the day
Every booking carries a status. You record the customer arriving, then you start and finish each service on the booking, and the status follows the work.
Watch how it is done
- Open the booking.
- When the customer says they are on the way, select Mark Arriving.
- As work on each service begins, select Start Service on that service.
- As each service finishes, select Complete Service on that service.
On a phone, Start Service and Complete Service show as icons only: a play icon and a tick.
How the status changes
Section titled “How the status changes”A Booked or Arriving booking turns In Progress with the first service you start, and Completed once the last service finishes. If you completed Checkout before then, it turns Checked Out instead, or BNPL while money is still owed. When the customer then pays the rest, razza completes any service not yet completed, and the booking turns Checked Out. The counters on your home screen follow each change.
Marking the customer arriving is optional. You can start the first service on a booking nobody marked arriving.
If Start Service does not appear
Section titled “If does not appear”When a customer booked on your booking site and has not finished paying online, the booking shows Pending payment, and razza does not offer Start Service on it until the customer pays.
If a booking from an earlier day is still open
Section titled “If a booking from an earlier day is still open”A booking stays open after its day while a service on it was never started or never finished, unless you cancelled it or marked a no-show. Find these bookings under Open from past days on the Bookings page, as finding a booking explains, and close each one.
When the customer confirms instead
Section titled “When the customer confirms instead”razza sends the customer a reminder with a button that confirms the booking. Tapping it sets the status to Arriving, and razza notifies the owners and the staff assigned to that booking.
Payment is a separate step
Section titled “Payment is a separate step”Finishing the services is not the same as being paid. Payment is a separate step, see checkout.
