Remove a service from a booking
Removing a service keeps the booking and takes the service and its price off it. You can do it before or after checkout.
- Open the booking.
- On the service you want to remove, select Remove service. On a phone, it is a bin icon.
- Select Remove service again to confirm.
What happens
Section titled “What happens”razza takes the service off the booking and its price off the total. On a package’s service, the button reads Remove package and removes the whole package. Before checkout, if every service left is finished, the booking turns Completed.
After checkout
Section titled “After checkout”A team member also needs Can manage payments and Can view prices. Before you confirm, razza shows the refund, payment by payment, or that the price comes off what is still owed. Enter a reason, and tick to confirm any money you hand back yourself, such as cash. razza records the refund in the same step.
razza also takes back the points the customer earned on the service, but returns none of the points spent. If your business is registered for VAT, each refund gets its own credit note, and razza issues one more for any unpaid part of the price, as the invoices page explains.
If a card refund does not go through, the booking page shows what is still owed back to the customer. You can refund it from one of the booking’s payments.
If the button does not appear
Section titled “If the button does not appear”It does not appear when removing the service would leave nothing on the booking, on a booking that is cancelled, a no-show, waiting for online payment or refunded in full, or, before checkout, when the services left would cost less than the customer has paid. After checkout, it appears only for someone with the permissions above.
