Discount history

The discount history is the record of every general discount you have run: its percentage, the dates it ran between, and the booking and revenue figures for each one.

Watch how it is done

  1. On the Services page, open Discount history.
  2. Read the list, newest first. Live marks one running now, Ended one that finished.
  3. Compare Bookings, Revenue and Discount given between periods.

Bookings counts the bookings this discount actually lowered: those with a service booked at the discounted price while it was live. A booking made at full price before the discount started does not count, even if its appointment falls during the discount. A service you left out, one carrying its own discount, or one booked in a package is not counted. Cancelled and no-show bookings are left out too.

Revenue is the price of those discounted services after the discount, and Discount given is what the discount took off their full price. A staff member without permission to see prices gets a dash in place of both amounts.

The figures cover all your branches, whichever branch is selected at the top of the portal.

Why does one discount appear more than once?

Section titled “Why does one discount appear more than once?”

razza starts a new row each time you change the percentage while a discount is running, so each percentage has its own figures. Switching the discount off and on again starts a new row too.

An empty history means no general discount has run yet. A discount on a single service never appears here.

Compare the bookings during a discount against an ordinary week, not the count on its own. Then read Discount given beside it, so you know what you gave up to get them.
