Record leave

Recording leave stops new bookings for that person. For every day in the period the booking site offers none of their times, and the portal refuses a booking that lands on them, whatever their weekly schedule or the branch hours say. When a customer books without picking a person, razza skips anyone on leave.

Steps

1. Open Working Hours from the side menu (named Hours & attendance when the attendance feature is on), then select Add leave.
2. Pick the person, then set the first and last day of the leave.
3. Pick the type: Annual leave, Sick leave or Unpaid leave.
4. Add a note if you want one, then select Save.

What happens after you save

You see Leave recorded. Wherever the branch is open in that period, they read On leave on the availability grid, and their calendar column is greyed and labelled with the leave type.

Bookings already in that period

razza changes nothing about them. Each one keeps its time and its team member, and neither the customer nor the team member is notified. They stay on the calendar. To clear them, give each one to another team member, move it to a day outside the leave, or cancel it.

Changing or removing leave

Find it under Leave on the same page. Select the pencil icon (Edit) to change its dates, type or note, or the bin icon (Delete) to remove it, which razza asks you to confirm first.

If you cannot find the person

With more than one branch, the form lists only the people of the branch chosen in the branch selector at the top of the portal, so choose their branch there first. Team members other than the owner see only their own branch.

Notes

• You can record leave for a date that has already passed.
• Leave beats a single edited day, the weekly schedule and the branch hours.
• A booking you record retroactively still goes through on a leave day.
• Two leave periods for the same person cannot overlap.
• Recording leave does not need the attendance feature switched on.
