How commissions are worked out

The Commissions page shows, month by month, each team member’s revenue, how much of their sales target they have reached, and their commission. razza counts only services whose visit you checked out, after discounts and refunds, and without VAT if your business charges it.

Watch how it is done

It opens on the current month, and the arrows move between months. The two cards at the top total the team’s Revenue and Commission, then each team member has a row:

  • Revenue: the value of the services they performed that month, less their share of refunds.
  • Achieved: their revenue as a percentage of their Target. It can pass 100%, and the bar turns green once they reach it.
  • Commission: their revenue multiplied by their Rate. A dash means they have no rate, and when nobody has one, the commission card reads No rates set yet.

The list shows every team member who takes bookings, plus anyone else with figures that month, such as someone you deactivated. Services not assigned to anyone appear as Services with no team member: they count in the team total, with no commission.

Select a row, or a card on a phone, to open the Commission statement. It lists each service with its visit date, booking number and price, then the refunds deducted, then the working from services to commission. Awaiting payment marks a visit you checked out with money still owed.

  • razza counts a service once you complete Checkout for its visit, including BNPL and visits paid before the service. Cancelled and no-show services never count.
  • Each service counts for the team member assigned to it, so on a shared visit each person gets their own services.
  • A service belongs to the month of its visit, not the month you checked it out.
  • razza uses each service’s price at checkout, after its share of any discount on the whole visit or of redeemed loyalty points comes off. How a visit discount is split.
  • If your business charges VAT, razza takes it out, and the line under the page title shows the rate. razza uses your current VAT status for every month, earlier months included.
  • razza deducts a refund given after checkout from revenue in the month you gave it, shared across the visit’s services by price. A service you remove after checkout simply stops counting. When a team member’s refunds in a month exceed their services, their revenue and commission show below zero.
  • If you reopen a visit, its services and refunds stop counting. When you check it out again, razza counts its services at the new checkout and leaves out refunds given before it.
  • Product sales never count.

With one branch selected, razza counts only the services done at that branch, and lists other branches’ team members only if they did services there. Each target still covers the whole month across branches, so Achieved can read lower. Choose All Branches to see a team member’s full progress.

A team member you gave Can view own commission sees My commission: their own revenue, target, rate and commission across every branch, and their own statement. The page never shows them a colleague’s figures or rate, or the team totals, whatever other permissions they hold. On a refund they see only their own share. Only the owner sees the whole team here.
